New Writer! Jaelle's Daughter

Hello! This Is Marlee! If you have read this blog before you may have heard of me. I am Jaelle's Middle daughter. as of now I am 15 turning 16 this July. I have been looking through the two old blogs and realized we have not kept up.

So I will start Catching up to now. in hopes to be caught up by summer. I am so excited to start this. With Mom's permission of course. I am now an Author and I love to write so this will be perfect for me. Things like this are important.

A LOT has changed. for one thing we are a lot older. it has been 5 WHOLE years! that's insanity. We are still pretty fun. It will be a change for me. and new perspective. and since it is still Mom's blog she may post one day. No clue. but to make things simple I will make sure to say it's me at the beginning. makes more sense that way. This will be fun.

April 2013 bbq at friends farm!

Wow... so behind as usual... going to try and go thru some pics and upload them here so that I can keep memories of my babies alive!!!!!

This is Dylan's butt ... hahaha.... We had a bbq at our friends Kristen and Kyle's farm... Dylan was fascinated by the tiny little serama chickens they have! So he climbed right into the chicken tractor with them!

We really enjoyed our time at the farm... it is relaxing and the kids love to play and explore. They have a big pond and Dylan and Keith and Kyle found a big turtle!

Fall 2012

We went to see the beautiful new riverboat that's on the mississippi.. the American Queen.. look how tiny the kids look against this big beautiful boat!!!

We were blessed to be able to have Keith's sister Krista and brother in law Justin and our beautiful niece Kenlee come visit for awhile... The kids wanted to swim.. but it was freezing! You can tell in their faces how cold they are!!

My mother in law Linda and Keith's sister Krista decided to do some baking together at Grandma Ulry's house... I loved that!!!

All of the cousins and family on Keith's mom's side came for a bbq while Krista and her family were here. The kids played in the creek and found a big turtle and a couple of frogs... they had a blast.. Dylan obviously had fun in the creek lol!

June 2012 SUMMER FUN!!!

June was awesome... again, we were outside constantly! And in the pool constantly!!!!

 

 

I got to spend a couple of hours with my bestie from when I was a teen, she brought her little adorable daughter Allison to play for a bit! She lives in Arizona now, so she's far away :(

 

 

We spent some time out at Mark Twain Lake as a family.. Dylan and Sydney caught their first fish!

 

 

Easter 2012

We had a beautiful Easter this year..... we spent time in Palmyra at Grandma Ulry's with Keith's side of the family and then also in Barry at my Grandma Odie's. Such a good Easter!

April 2012 Zoo Trip

We had the most amazing trip to the zoo in April..... probably one of the best trips ever for us!

Mega Updates.. man im bad at this! March 2012

Wow, I have been awful at keeping up this blog !! Ok, let's try to catch up here lol.
March 2012-- we spent alot of time outside! We got chickens and bunnies! You can see more pics of them here : www.fruittreehillhannibal.blogspot.com

It started out so small lol... 4 chicks and 2 bunnies.... the grand total now in october 2012 is 13 chickens and 9 bunnies. sigh. lol

the swine flu.......

Ok, it just sounds gross. All three babies have H1N1 otherwise known as the swine flu.

So anyways, the whole family is on tamiflu, for preventative measures and to try and keep it from lasting really long. It started with Syd, she got a huge fever and I couldn't get it down, so off to the clinic, and surprise, she tested positive for influenza. By 3 am, Dylan was awake feeling awful, by 4 am, Marlee was up, and of course Mommy was up all night checking on all three of them for fevers! Suffice it to say, Im a little exhausted!! But I do want to make sure that if anyone else out there has sick kids they have these things on hand...... Introducing Momtothreebabies' official sick day goody bag:

* Johnson's Vapor Bath-- heaven on earth for sick kids ( and momma's and daddies too ) It just feels soooo good to everyone! It is my number one must have.

* Sunny D- I know it's not the most healthy of orange juices, but it's super yummy. :)

* Pot Holder Loom- I have so many beautiful potholders right now... and it keeps the kids happy :)

* TV- yup I'm one of those moms! My kids are plastered to America's Funniest Home Videos and Full House :)

So, this weekend we are going to whip up some red velvet cake from the Pioneer Woman cookbook, rent old movies, and Chillax with plenty of sunny d and bubble baths!!!! Hope everyone else has a super great weekend!! :) Love, JL~ momtothreebabies

Update on Marlee Sarah Beth feb 2012

Marlee had her renal ultrasound and checkup with Dr Ahn in st louis friday. She has one kidney stone but its stable thank goodness... so with her medicine etc, her kidney disease seems to be stable. Unfortunately we got news we weren't yet prepared for. We've known since Marlee was born there was a slight chance she would have Neurofibromatosis type 1. We found out a few months ago at the geneticist that she probably did have it,but we hoped for a couple of years before we would have to start treatment. Friday we found out Marlee has her first neurofibroma ( tumor- benign this time thank goodness) and she has 6 of the other "markers" for the disease, so she is starting treatment at the NF Clinic at Children's Hospital in St Louis in April. The pamphlet they gave us explains Neurofibromatosis as this " a set of complex genetic conditions that can affect nearly every organ system in the body. NF causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body and in the brain. Other problems can include learning issues and bone deformities."  We have dealt with the learning issues and she had been diagnosed as autistic when she was 3 and a half... now we are wondering if it has to do with the NF. Weirdly, her Kidney Disease ( cystinuria) is completely unrelated to NF. As a mom, I have no idea how to deal with this. I feel like Marlee-girl is a ticking time bomb. As a human being I feel the need to help others thru this somehow. So we are hosting a collection of used and new books and games, and new coloring books etc to take to Children's with us in April. Children's hospital is amazing. They have been so wonderful to us, and when Marlee had her big surgery last year and consequent hospital stays, the nurses, doctors, and childlife teams have been amazing. The playroom for the patients is always stocked with crafts and toys and games, and they take donations.... so we would like to be able to give them a bunch of good stuff. The registration areas are stocked with donated books, new and used, that the kiddos get to choose to take with them. So we would like to stock those up also! Plus, if you have magazines or books for parents, or little shower gels etc.... I know from experience the parent lounges are in desperate need of some new reading material and us parents who have to stay overnight etc, could use some smelly good stuff to shower with. Romance in the air

The kids decided Keith and I needed a romantic dinner :) So they made us this lovely dinner and even provided entertainment! :) I LOVE THEM!!!

Sledding at Grandma Ulry's

We have had the mildest winter ( which I am TOTALLY ok with!!!!) but it finally snowed just enough that we could take the kids sledding, and it melted that night! Here are some pics of Keith and the kids sledding down Grandma Ulry's giant hill at her house! Grandma Kaylor went sledding too, but I was laughing to hard to get pictures, everyone was cracking up laughing having a great time! What happy memories!

Christmas 2011

We spent time at Nana and Pop Pop's with Aunt Vonnie also, on Christmas Eve. Then we set out our cookies and milk for santa ( inside for the first year ever.. Marlee has decided its ok to let santa in the house now) and then Christmas Morning we had a wonderful day together as a family! We are blessed to be able to celebrate the birth of our Savior , whom we love!!!!
