Playdate at the River

sydney has made friends with the little boy across the street who is just her age! we took the two of them downtown to the river for a little playdate. Candy bars, throwing rocks in the river, seeing fish scales, and waving at the people on the boats, they had a really great time! Plus they are just dang cute :)

Sydney's 7th Birthday

I can't believe I just typed that my baby is 7. Why do they grow up so fast????? She is my miracle baby, the one the doctors thought wasnt even there, and I was scheduled for d&c and begged for one more ultrasound. There was my healthy baby girl! She is notorious for being onery and hilarious and a joy. She loves puppies and fashion. She's a blast. I love her. Here are some pics from her birthday.

Sydney's 6th Birthday

My baby turned 6. I know. You may shed a tear with me if you'd like. sob.
She is such a joy and so stinking onery! We love her to death!
Six years ago she was born on fathers day. I didn't get Keith anything else for Fathers Day that year... I thought a baby was enough.
This year her birthday fell on Father's Day again. So we had a party!
She wanted a candy party! So candy all around, oh and cupcakes and cookie cake too! We also bought a Fathers Day cake for all the daddies :) and one future dad, who really really wanted in the picture with the guys.

A School Day :)

My girls are so cute. Not only do we homeschool daily, but they like to "play" school! It was so funny this morning, as I was doing the dishes and Dylan was helping me cook dinner to stick in the fridge for tonight, the girls were sitting at the dining room table. Marlee was saying things like " After prayer, we will go over our family rules and then we will read from the scriptures" and they had a little prayer, read over the family rules, then Marlee read a verse from the scriptures. The whole time Sydney was sitting like a little angel. Why doesnt she do that for me?? LOL. After that Marlee decided to help Sydney work on her reading and writing. Marlee has been so wonderful in helping Syd to read. I am so proud of both of them. It was just so darling to watch them as they played and to realize that I am just such a proud momma, because my kids are so cool!
Im thankful to be a momma, and Im thankful I have the three beautiful children that I do, and Im thankful we homeschool so I dont have to miss a minute with them!

On the subject of EVEN MORE TEETH!!!

so... with three kids under the age of 8, losing teeth at our house is a big deal! Baby sydney lost her first tooth last night! the tooth fairy came for the first time for her! she was so excited....then this morning, her other tooth popped out!!! so the tooth fairy is coming AGAIN tonight!!! she said it makes her feel like singing! ;)

Major Updates coming your way!! Sydneys Birthday

I have soo much to update on this silly blog! I'll start with birthdays. Yes they were in june and july but I have no time to update it feels like!!!

Sydneys birthday was June 20th. We had so much fun and lots of people over for cake and ice cream! my baby is 5 now!!!

Her poor little face is all bit up!!!!! Her lips are swollen and her eyebrow is swollen and her little cheek is so red! Its hard to see in this pic, but its so sad!!! She was like, IM ITCHY!!! umm... i can see why poor little baby!!!!! Good ole hydrocortisone and benadryl! She said to me, mom, im bug bait!!!!!

Sydney the Candy Monster

Ok, some background, Sydney is a candy monster. Has been ever since she grew some teeth! She hides the candy, she sneaks the candy, she STEALS the candy, LOL. The girl can eat so much candy and sweets and she never gets a tummy ache. When she was two, she took my birthday cake and hid it under her crib!!!! We went in to eat birthday cake, it was gone!!!! She finally showed us where it was, and it was soooo hard not to laugh!!!!

So.... easter is one of those holidays that Syd loves. Halloween is another, lol. She got lots of candy yesterday and while we thought she was quietly sleeping like a good girl, she had ulterior motives!! Check out the picture! This is what i found in her room this morning!
