This past week.
Last week was a good week for the kids. Nana and Pop Pop took them on individual dates and they really enjoyed that. We also were able to play outside a few times last week and it really helps everyones spirits.
Monday Pop Pop took Marlee to burger king on their date. She had a great time going down the slide. Wednesday was Dylans day, he chose to spend the entire day at nana and pop pops. He got to play bingo, make cookies, and also go out to eat at burger king! Friday was Sydneys day, and she decided to go to Burger King also, and her and nana had a great day there.
Dylan put it nicely, he said " mom, thats how memories are made!"
Its been kind of a rough week for me with finally healing up from the kidney infection and all the big shots, etc they made me have. But this new week is certainly better. Today is tuesday. Yesterday we had a nice day, the kids played nicely and I got chores done and some cowboy stew made in the crockpot. We will have it for dinner tonight with cornbread! Today we are taking Aunt Vonnie to New London for an appt and Im going to finally mail my giveaway winners prize!!!! Wasnt expecting to be sick! LOL. I am excited to be getting more giveaways and contest going on this blog and also on the LDSforeverfamilies.com blog.
It is supposed to be beautiful out today, so after our appt with aunt vonnie, we will probably work on our valentines day lapbook, and then have lunch and go out and play. We are not doing full studies today, we have this neat lapbook project kit we will be working on. It is super neat, has vocabulary things and all kinds of cute stuff! Lots of fun work!
Well, that is our update! Bulldog is still for sale, lol!!!!! Driving me bananas!

Being a mommy is hard sometimes...

My little guy dylan has an immunodeficiency and other health issues such as severe asthma/allergies and aspergers syndrome. He is amazing, a trooper, our hero. But some days it just breaks my heart. Today he got to spend the entire day with his nana and pop pop. A really special treat for him. They did all kinds of fun things, all that he got to choose like renting a movie, playing bingo, making cookies, and going out to lunch. He chose burger king because he wanted to go down the slide. My mom didnt realize that the slides at burger king make him sick. But Dylan had lots of fun, until about an hour later, when he had such a raging headache, he had to come home and get medicine. You see, the germs and dust on the slides, they make him so sick. He gets sick from so much, he can walk into walmart and come out with something. He is so amazing though, never complains, and so when he does actually say, my head hurts so much i cant open my eyes--- you know it is bad. Thankfully ibuprofen and benadryl along with his millions of other daily meds, helped him to get some relief and he is now sleeping soundly. It is so hard though. Especially when he wants to go play with other kids and hes sick, or they are sick and we have to protect him. Im just so blessed to have him, he really makes me a better person, i certainly think of him as my hero.

Weekend...
We had a pretty good weekend, except I was still sick. Keith and I went eagle watching saturday morning then out to lunch, which was awesome. Then we took the kids to mark twain lake to the joanna trail, which was super fun but MUDDY!!! needless to say, they had big ole bubble baths when they got home, which i love, i love it when my babies smell so yummy from their baths and lotion and they are in their jammies and we all kick back and watch disney or something before bed. Oh yeah- we are still trucking along in raggedy andy for family reading time. it is so cute! I love family reading time, it really is one of my favorite times of the day.
Sunday was church. It was a beautiful testimony meeting and I was blessed to have two of my children go up and bear their testimonies! their wasnt a dry eye in the house when marlee bore hers, it is something special when an autistic child talks of her love of jesus. dylan did soo good also, he was so cute! i was a proud mama! They did great in primary and syd went home early with keith, she is so whiny at times, lol, but i think she really was just missing her daddy. she has a hard time when he is at work, she is a daddys girl.
today, i have been working on the www.ldsforeverfamilies.com site and also preparing to go to the doctor and possibly be admitted into the hospital. WIthout being to gross, i had a uti, which went into a severe kidney infection and now they are concerned their might be something blocking my kidneys and not allowing them to filter correctly. so i may be getting some iv antibiotics ( which im very happy for, cause im not liking taking three different antibiotics and not having them work!!!) and hopefully i will get better very very quickly!!!!!
