This is our little fiber optic tree. We call it the Beatles Yellow Submarine tree- it has my favorite ornament on it, the yellow submarine ornament, and then lots of bright colored ornaments to match! Its pretty fun!
Here is our regular tree. It is covered in ornaments that have been in my family, keiths family and our family together, for years! The kids decorated it which explains the group of ornaments all in the same spot!! We love it because it has so many special ornaments, each one tells a story of our family. There are homemade ornaments, ornaments from the early 1980's ( oh yeah, keith and I are children of the 80's lol) and each one is special!
Here are a couple of our nativity scenes. I love nativities. One day when Im rich, Im going to collect them. lol. They always help us to remember the real reason for the season. Well, this is all Im able to share for today, I have three very sick kids unfortunately, which is very normal for winter! We had an ice storm last night, and today, they are all really sick, so maybe next year I will be able to post a long awesome post, but I really just wanted to be a part of it this year!! Merry Christmas to all my new friends! I will be visiting your homes today for sure!!
One of our Christmas Countdowns! This one was what my sister and I used as kids to countdown the days till christmas. I still get all excited when December 1st comes around and we get to play! My kids have the same joy that me and Cait did when we were little!
I love my kids and doing little things like this!!
Please please leave a comment! I hope to make new friends!!!! I leave a comment for every home I visit!!

Very nice! Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for stopping by my place and inviting me over! That little clothesline of Santa's clothing is precious!
Greetings Jaelle! And thank you kindly for your heartfelt comment at my blog. Your sweet words blessed me dear one.
We use to live in St. Louis and how well I remember the ice and snow storms there! It is a blessing to have good neighbors! I pray your three little ones are feeling better very soon. They did a lovely job of helping you decorate, everything looks cozy!
Joy and peace,
Lora
You have some very precious decor and I hope your kiddos get well soon!
Best wishes for the season and stay warm.
Thanks for stopping by.
Jaelle, I love that Santa's clothesline - adorable!! And your kid-decorated tree is just precious. Thank you for sharing your home!
And thanks for stopping by my blog. YES, I went to school at Truman. And YES, we took several road trips to Hannibal! :)
Ha! I just read through everyone else's comments and realized we all said "precious." I must have seen that out of the corner of my eye, because that's not really a word I normally use!
BUT - your tree IS precious! :)
I stopped by yesterday but my computer was acting up and wouldn't let me post a comment. So I came back :-) Just wanted to thank you for sharing in the party! Enjoyed seeing your decorations and reading your stories. I, too, would love to collect nativity scenes. But with all the moving we do, collecting anything isn't very practical. Oh well. I can just enjoy everyone else's collections :-)
Thanks for stopping by my blog, too!
Hope your munchkins are getting better! Yikes an ice storm. I love your tree you call the Beatles Tree. I sat in my living room and watched the Beatles on Ed Sullivan when they first came to the U.S. now you know how very old I am :0)
I need to get me a Beatles ornament!! A very Merry Christmas to you and yours...
I love Santa's clothesline! Hope everyone is feeling better soon...I bet you have your hands full.
Everything is SO cute! I love that you let your children decorate your tree. That's so special and they are young for such a short time. You'll always remember them doing this. :o)
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comments!
Have a very blessed and Merry Christmas!
God bless you ~ Julie
Hi Jaelle,
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving such sweet comments! You did the home tour too! There's nothing as sweet as a Christmas tree decorated by children, all the precious memories each little handcrafted ornament brings to mind...just precious! I grew up next door to you in Kansas so I'm well familiar with ice storms and as you call it "gross" weather *smiles* Hope all your little ones are feeling much better!
I love that your decorations really represent you and your family! They are so fun and festive!
Merry Christmas and thanks for inviting us in for your tour.
Loved the tour. You know those fiber optic trees are getting hard to find in my neck of the woods. Its like they arent making them anymore. I always liked them.
And thank you for the tour!
