Backyard Bird Count was a success!!

We had so much fun! We were out for 30 minutes, and we counted 9 different species, a total of 85 birds we identified, and we saw hundreds of geese and ducks flying overhead!!! We were just screaming in the backyard, lol. But we actually counted and identified 85 birds!!! That was awesome!

Wow - I am impressed. I am not sure I could get my kids to sit still long enough to count THAT many birds! We are lucky to notice the BlueJays and Robins and Cardinals in our yard each morning. :)

Well, the 40 geese flying by helped in the count, LOL. Plus the kids had binoculaurs and they were super excited, lol!!!
It was fun to look up the different birds online and everything! We had a good time!
